Story summary
As a child, Mahosadha becomes known for resolving difficult disputes by looking closely and asking useful questions. His abilities bring him to the court of King Vedeha, where jealous advisers repeatedly try to discredit him. He meets their challenges with observation and practical wisdom.
When a rival king’s scheme places Vedeha and his companions in danger, Mahosadha prepares a remarkable escape through a tunnel. His planning protects lives and helps turn conflict toward reconciliation. The long tale contains many adventures, joined by a question: how can intelligence serve people rather than simply defeat an opponent?
